The City of Lawrence Community Development Division is now accepting Homeowner Assessment forms for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded Comprehensive Housing Rehabilitation program. This program offers deferred or installment loans, for income eligible homeowners living within the city limits, to have necessary rehabilitation repairs made to their owner-occupied housing.
This program is designed to bring housing up to property rehabilitation standards and is not a remodeling program. The program property rehabilitation standardsare available for review.
Homeowner Assessment forms are available online on the Community Development Division website or at 1 Riverfront Plaza, Suite 320 Lawrence, KS 66044. Completed forms will be accepted until May 31, 2019. Assessments will be ranked and addressed according to project scope and need. Funds are available to assist three to five households annually.
