LPRD offers gymnastics camp to introduce fundamentals

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is taking registrations for Fun of Fundamentals Gymnastics Camp.

This camp will bring back the basics with handstands, cartwheels and roundoffs. The camp will then progress as the gymnasts improve. By the end of this camp, participants will master basic skills and should be ready to work more advanced skills such as back bends, kick overs, and front walkovers.
The camp runs 12:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, May 28-31, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $80 per child.  Other sessions run weekly Monday-Friday, June 10-Aug. 2.  Cost is $80 per child, per session.
