LPRD to host Spring Youth Volleyball Camp for youth to improve, develop skills

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department along with Kansas Volleyball is offering a skills camp for young volleyball players.

The camp will be held 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. The camp is open to boys and girls kindergarten through eighth grade. Participants will have the opportunity to watch a high-level college practice, work with event coaches on skills and games then take part in a group photo and an autograph session. The coaches for this camp will be the Kansas Volleyball staff and athletes. Cost is $15 per child.
