Upcoming intersection closures for East 9th Street Reconstruction Project

Beginning Wednesday morning, May 1, the intersection of New Jersey and 9^th Street will be closed as part of the East 9^th Street reconstruction project. Drop off for New York Elementary School will be shifted to 10^th Street during this phase of construction. Both lanes of East 9^th Street, between New Jersey and Pennsylvania Streets, will remain closed. The intersection of New York and 9^th Street will be open to all traffic movements except eastbound on 9^th Street. The contractor will close the intersection of 9^th and New York Street after the reopening of the intersection at 9^th and New Jersey. MAP

Traffic control devices, including detours, will be in place to direct traffic. The City will provide construction and road closure updates as the project progresses.
