The Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) staff processed an administrative revision to the FFY 2019 – 2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) on May 9, 2019. The TIP is a four year listing of federally funded and/or regionally significant improvements to the region’s transportation system. The revised TIP can be found online at: https://lawrenceks.org/mpo/tip.
The revision reflects changing the 2020 Local PE funds to CONST funding and adding the KDOT project number to the West Baldwin Pedestrian/Bike Connectivity Project (TIP # 509) and adding the KDOT project number to the Lawrence Loop Shared-Use Paths – 8th St to 11th St & 29th St (TIP #508). These changes fall within the guidelines for an administrative revision in the Public Participation Plan and TIP.
