Animation Camp to allow children to express creativity through digital animation design

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department, along with Youth Tech Inc., will provide youth the chance to learn, create and direct digital animation.

Animation Camp will teach students the basics of animation and digital design. Students will use animation software in Adobe Flash to create fun interactive animations they will be able share with others. Animation Camp is open to children nine years-old to 17 years-old. It will be held 9 a.m.-noon Monday-Thursday, June 10-13, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $155 per camper.
