Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Aquatic Division is offering a safe and challenging water-based workout integrating the Zumba fitness formula.
Aqua Zumba will take place 6:30-7:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, June 3-July 17, at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive. Participants will be taken through an invigorating workout involving splashing, stretching, twisting, shouting, laughing, hooting and hollering. Class is designed to blend the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines for a cardio-conditioning and body-toning workout. Cost is $49 per person.
