LPRD showcases fitness classes in demonstration series to test classes before enrolling

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering multiple demonstrations in a series of free fitness classes.

Test out LPRD’s fitness summer class offerings before committing to a session by taking part in demonstration classes being held at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Classes include the following:

Thursday, May 23
6:10-6:50 p.m. Pumped with Mea Austin – Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Fitness Room
7-7:30 p.m. Core Express with Mea Austin – Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Fitness Room

Thursday, May 30
8:20-8:50 a.m. TRX Strength Express with Angela Baker – Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Legacy Room
9-9:45 a.m. TRX Flow with Angela Baker – Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Legacy Room
6:10-6:50 p.m. Pumped with Mea Austin – Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Fitness Room
7-7:30 p.m. Core Express with Mea Austin – Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Fitness Room

Saturday, June 1
9:35-10:15 a.m. Jab Attack with Mea Austin – Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Fitness Room
10:30-11:10 a.m. Booty Blast with Mea Austin – Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Fitness Room
11:25 a.m.-12:05 p.m. Sculpt Fusion with Mea Austin – Sports Pavilion Lawrence, Fitness Room

Registration for these demonstration classes is not required; simply show up at the appropriate time and location of the class and participate in the demonstration.  However, some may be limited due to equipment, in which participation will be on a first-come/first-serve basis.
