LPRD’s LEGO Minecraft camps approaching fast

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department, along with Play-Well TEKnologies, Inc., are offering youth LEGO Minecraft camps at the end of May.

LEGO, Minecraft, Build: Adventure Game is open to children five years-old to seven years-old and teaches resourcefulness, creativity and cooperation to participants. Campers mine for resources and build special items to help in their adventures. Camp will be held 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday-Friday, May 28-31, at the Carnegie Building, 200 W. LEGO, Minecraft, Build: Survival Game is open to children seven years-old to 12 years-old and teaches resourcefulness, creativity, and cooperation to participants. Campers mine for resources and craft tools to bring Minecraft to life. Camp will be held 1-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, May 28-31, at the Carnegie Building, 200 W. Ninth St. Cost is $155 per camper.
