A waterline replacement project is scheduled to begin the week of June 3, 2019 on 14th Street between Massachusetts Street and Delaware Street.
The project will begin at Massachusetts Street and proceed east and include replacement of a waterline along 14th Street and some adjacent residential streets. 14th Street will be closed from Massachusetts Street to Connecticut Street to facilitate waterline installation beginning on Tuesday, June 4. There will be traffic control devices and detours in place to direct traffic around the lane closure. As the project progresses, additional closures of 14th and 15th streets will be required to install waterline and connect to existing infrastructure. Motorists should expect delays in this area, especially during heavy traffic periods.
The waterline replacement will continue through the year and will be completed this winter.
