Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a new camp aimed at teach kids the basics of musical theatrics.
Dancing on Broadway Dance Camp will be held 2-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 8-12, at the Community Building; 115 West 11th St. Participants will have the opportunity to learn basics of musical theatre and jazz dance, as well as introduce some acting concepts. Dancers will put on a show for their parents at the end of the week. It is open to those seven years-old -10 years-old. Cost is $85 per person.
