Street closures due to multiple water main breaks in the 1200 and 1300 blocks of New York Street

A large water main break at 1235 New York Street has caused multiple street closures. The break in the water main caused significant road damage, which will take several days to repair.

Learnard Street will be closed to thru traffic from 15^th Street to 19^th Street. New York Street will be closed from 12^th to 13^th and 13^th to 14^th Street for street repairs. There will be traffic control devices in place to direct traffic around the street closures. Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes. Motorists should expect delays in this area, especially during heavy traffic periods. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
