2019 Summer Fest rescheduled for July 7

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s special events division has rescheduled its annual Summer Fest arts and crafts festival for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, July 7, in historic South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St. It was rescheduled due to inclement weather the day it was originally scheduled.

This annual outdoor craft show is for non-commercial and commercial vendors. A variety of food and drink vendors will present showcasing their works and offering it for sale.

Live music will be played throughout the afternoon at the William Kelly Bandstand. Performances include:

1 p.m. – The Beer Bellies
2 p.m. – Kim & the Quake
3 p.m. – Vaughn Cowden

This event is free and open to the public.

Vendors are still welcome to register for the event. Fees for exhibitors are $70 for non-commercial vendors and $110 for commercial vendors. Vendor spaces are 10’x10.’  Space is limited.
