Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center is offering an opportunity to learn how to go geocaching.
Geocaching 101 supplies participants eight years-old and older with the supplies and instruction necessary to learn about geocaching. Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played using handheld GPS devices. The class will be held 2:30-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at the nature center, 2730 Harper St. Cost is $10.
