LPRD to offer low-impact, graceful workout with Beginning Tai Chi

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Departments’ Lifelong Recreation is offering a Tai Chi class for those looking to improve their health.

Beginning Tai Chi is designed to improve the health and quality of life for everyone. Participants will experience a graceful, low-impact exercise that is suited towards seniors ages 50 and older. Class is being held 9-10 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays, Feb. 11-May 8, at the Community Building, 115 West 11th St. Cost is $87 per person.

Enroll two-weeks prior to the first day of class to receive a $10 discount.

The Arthritis Foundation of America, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Administration on Aging each recommend this program as meeting their standards for health programming.
