Take a walk on the wild side with this Prairie Park Nature Center camp

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center is holding a two-day camp, giving youth the chance to develop an enthusiasm for wildlife in their days off school.

Wild Things Camp provides children six years-old to 10 years-old the opportunity to get wild with their favorite animals, play games, go on hikes and make crafts at the nature center. Participating children should bring a sack lunch and suitable clothing for their outdoor adventures.

Camp runs 8:30a.m.-4p.m. Thursday-Friday, Feb. 20-21 at Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St. The cost of the camp is $60 per child.
