As part of ongoing efforts to protect the health and safety of the Lawrence community, and in an effort to support local businesses, the City of Lawrence will be creating temporary free curbside parking stalls for businesses in Downtown Lawrence.
Customers will be able to utilize the stalls for quick curbside and/or carry out orders.
Starting Friday, March 20, Downtown Lawrence businesses interested in utilizing this service can email the City parking division at parking@lawrenceks.org. Please provide the following information in that email:
- Name of business
- Address of business
- Meter number you would like to use as the reserved stall (meter numbers are white and can be found on the street side of the meter pole).
- Type of stall (curbside pickup, in-store pickup, etc.)
- Contact name and telephone number
Once the email is received, parking staff will create and install the sign in the desired stall. No further action is required from the business.
If you have any questions, please email the parking division at parking@lawrenceks.org.
