April 7, 2020 City Commission meeting postponed
Due to technical difficulties, the April 7, 2020, City Commission meeting was postponed. The items appearing on the April 7, 2020, Agenda will be rescheduled to the April 14, 2020, City Commission Agenda, with the following exceptions:
- Consider adopting Resolution No. 7311, authorizing tax-exempt Industrial Revenue Bond Financing for the U.S. Engineering Metalworks Project and authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with USE Real Estate Holdings, LLC to add Block C, Lot 2 to the project – will be rescheduled to May 5, 2020
- Consider an appeal of administrative determination for site plan, SP-19-00278, located at 1717 Research Park Drive – will be rescheduled to May 5, 2020
Because the April 14, 2020, City Commission meeting is scheduled as a work session, this email will serve notice that Consent and Regular Agenda Items will also be scheduled for April 14, 2020. The Regular Agenda items consist of:
- Public hearing on the establishment of a Neighborhood Revitalization Area at 800 Pennsylvania;
- Consider adopting on first reading, Ordinance No. 9754, regarding illegal camping – On March 17, 2020, this item was on the regular agenda and deferred to April 7, 2020. Since the April 7, 2020, City Commission meeting was postponed, the item will be placed on the April 14, 2020, Agenda to be deferred indefinitely; and
- Consider initiating a text amendment to the Land Development Code to increase occupancy limits and/or locations related to Temporary Shelters – On March 17, 2020, this item was on the regular agenda and deferred to April 7, 2020. Since the April 7, 2020, City Commission meeting was postponed, the item will be placed on the April 14, 2020, Agenda to be deferred indefinitely.
The April 14 agenda and notification will follow the normal schedule and will be posted by end of day Thursday, April 9.
