The Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) staff processed an administrative revision to the FFY 2019 – 2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) on June 22, 2020. The TIP is a four year listing of federally funded and/or regionally significant improvements to the region’s transportation system. The revised TIP can be found online at: https://lawrenceks.org/mpo/tip.
The revision adds the KDOT project numbers to the FY21 Transportation Alternative (TA) projects and adjusts local construction funding. The revision also adjusts the funding year from 2020 to 2021 for the Lawrence Loop Shared-Use Paths- 8th St to 11th St & 29th St (TIP # 508). The changes fall within the guidelines for an administrative revision in the Public Participation Plan and TIP.
