Join the dance craze! LPRD to provide line dancing workshop

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a workshop to get on the dance floor and be confident with a variety of line dance styles.

Line Dancing Workshop provides the basic and intermediate components of line dancing. Participants will dance to variety of styles, including: country, pop, Latin, oldies and rhythm and blues. Workshops will be held 5:45-8 p.m. Fridays, Sept. 11, Oct. 23, Nov. 20, Dec. 18 and Sunday, Dec. 6, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 W. 11th St. It is open to those 15 years-old and older and cost $15 per person, per workshop session.
