Slimnastics wants to help you improve yourself

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Lifelong Recreation Division offers fitness class to help participants build a healthier body.

Slimnastics offers an optimal mix of strength, balance, endurance and flexibility training using body-weight exercises resistance bands and weights. This class will focus on all muscle groups to create a strong, well-balanced, healthy body.

This class runs 9 a.m-10 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Nov. 9-Dec. 18, at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St. Cost of the class is $40 through Monday, Oct. 26, and $50, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 27, through the start of the class.

All other locations are currently unavailable for in-person enrollment.
