Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a dynamic weightlifting course.

Weights Express offers participants a 30-minute workout twice a week that will be unique each time. Participants will build strength utilizing a variety of equipment to sculpt and tone all major muscle groups. Circuits and stations will also be incorporated into the program.

Class is offered 5:30-6 p.m. or 6:15-5:45 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Nov. 9-Dec. 16, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost of the class is $29 through Monday, Oct. 26, and $39, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 27, through the start of the class.
