A fun martial arts class is available for children

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is holding fall martial arts classes for younger students.

Little Dragons is designed with the younger student in mind and teaches the basic martial arts stances, coordination development and helps build physical control and balance. Participants will gain confidence, an increased attention span and respect for others in a positive and fun environment.

The class is offered 12-12:40 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 8-Dec. 13, at the Community Building, 115 West 11th St. Cost is $25 per student for enrollments through Sunday, Oct. 25, and $35 Monday, Oct. 26, through the beginning of the class.
