Get out and explore nature with Fall Break Camp

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center is hosting a camp designed to teach participants the importance of nature.

Fall Break Camp is a camp designed for children to take a break from school and explore nature. Participants will get wild with the animals, play interactive games, go on adventures hikes and create fun crafts at the nature center. Please bring a snack lunch, proper clothes and shoes for outdoor adventures.

This camp will be available for children six to 12 years old. Camp will be held 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 5-Nov. 6, at the Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St. Cost is $60 per participant.
