The City of Lawrence is now accepting applications for General Funding for outside agencies.
Eligible projects are those that address one of the outcome areas identified in the City’s Strategic Plan. Application materials and additional information can be found online at lawrenceks.org/budget/current.
Applications must be submitted electronically by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, to Danielle Buschkoetter at dbuschkoetter@lawrenceks.org. Additionally, applicants will need to mail one paper copy of the signed application to the City of Lawrence (6 East 6th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044), Attn: Danielle Buschkoetter. The mailed application must be post marked no later than one business day after the application deadline.
Staff will use a matrix to review all the applications and forward funding recommendations to the City Commission, who will approve the awards at an upcoming regular meeting.
