Refine your dance skills with LPRD’s Dance Fundamentals III

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a workshop to help continue developing skills in dance.

Dance Fundamentals III helps participants develop proper technique for various spins and turns including traveling pivots, chainnés, inside and outside spins, and Monterey turns. Dancers will build on some of the techniques explained in Dance Fundamentals I and II while also learning and practicing spotting techniques to improve balance and refine spinning.

The workshop, open to those 15 years-old and older, will be held 1:15-4:15 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence®, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $20 per person. Singles and partners welcome.
