LPRD to instruct dancers in West Coast Swing Workshop
Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department invites participants to learn the foundations, moves and patterns of a popular slotted dance.
West Coast Swing Workshop is a class guiding dancers through the basics of a dance done to slow and bluesy music. Both 6 and 8-count movements will be presented, and the concepts of compression and stretch will be developed. Participants of all skill levels are welcome, and there will be plenty of practice time for dancers to improve.
