Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is holding an outdoor nature hike program for adults.
Mindful Nature Hike invites those 18 years-old and older to de-stress by getting outside and appreciating the natural world. The naturalist-led hike will help participants learn about the local environment, wildlife and plant life.
Mindful Nature Hike will be held 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 22, at Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St. Cost is $5 per person.
