Learn life-saving skills with LPRD Lifeguard Training course

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department has space remaining in a lifeguard training course next week for swimmers interested in taking the plunge to save lives.

Lifeguard Training will be held 12:30-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 28-July 1. For this training course, swimmers must exhibit pre-skills before enrollment.

Lifeguards employed with LPRD must be 16 years-old or older, however, lifeguard training may be completed by anyone as young as 15 years-old.
