Review and Approval the 2021 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) Amendment 1
The UPWP is a federally required document that describes the work activities, schedule and budget planned for the Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) staff, planning partners and consultants in 2021. A UPWP is produced yearly and is amended as necessary to reflect changes in MPO funding and/or work tasks.
The 15-day public comment period for this Draft 2021 UPWP Amendment 1 will start on July 17 and will end on July 30, 2021. This UPWP will come before the Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization for approval at their August 19, 2021 meeting. Public Comments received will be reported and considered by the MPO Policy Board where decisions pertaining to revision of this document will be made prior to final approval.
