Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Holiday Extravaganza arts and crafts fair will be held tomorrow, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence®, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. The event is free and open to the public.
The Holiday Extravaganza features more than 100 vendors, displaying commercial and non-commercial artwork and items produced by local and regional artists. This fair spans several basketball courts within the facility. A variety of items will be on display, including pottery, photography, holiday decorations, desserts, jewelry and much more.
Face coverings are encouraged and appreciated for visitors to City facilities. As of Dec. 2, face coverings are only required for anyone who is unvaccinated, including City employees and members of the public, and anyone two years-old to 11 years-old.
