Eudora, Baldwin City, and Lecompton Pedestrian Planning, Improving Walkability One Step at a Time

Kevin PowellCity, Metropolitan Planning Organization

The Lawrence–Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) needs your help! The Regional Pedestrian Plan is being updated to establish a renewed vision for walkability in Eudora, Baldwin City, and Lecompton.

The pedestrian plan is used to prioritize resources and develop strategies to improve walkability. Since the last plan was completed in 2016, the region has implemented several projects and programs.

Eudora, Baldwin City, and Lecompton surveys are available until February 21, 2022, where you can provide input on priorities and barriers to walking. The feedback received from the community will help the Pedestrian Plan workgroup draft a plan that reflects the community vision, issues and preferences.
