PPNC hosting Nature’s Creations workshops for adults

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center is offering a workshop this February in its Nature’s Creations series featuring the creation of seasonal spring wreaths.

In Spring Wreaths, crafters will make their own seasonal wreath to welcome the warmer weather with natural materials such as dried flowers and grasses. It will be held 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1. Cost is $15 per person.

Face coverings are encouraged and appreciated for visitors to City facilities. Masks must be worn at all times while visiting Prairie Park Nature Center and other LPRD facilities unless actively participating in a class, during which participants 11 years-old and older may remove their face coverings.
