Build core strength with TRX suspension training course

Kevin PowellCity, Parks & Recreation

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a low impact exercise class that is perfect for all activity levels.

In TRX Strength, elements of yoga and Pilates are practiced with TRX equipment to challenge and strengthen the core while focusing on form and alignment. TRX, which stands for total resistance exercises, utilizes equipment such as straps that use one’s body weight to build muscle and tone in a safe and effective way.

This class is available to those 15 years-old and older and is offered 9-9:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 7-Aug. 25, at Sports Pavilion Lawrence®, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Cost is $96 per person.
