LPRD’s Dance Mash teaches youth a variety of dance moves

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering a youth dance class that introduces participants to several different styles of dance.

Dance Mash is available for kids three years-old to four years-old who want to experience a combination of styles including tap, ballet and hip-hop to keep them active and having fun. This four-session course will introduce participants to new dances to practice at home and increase familiarity with the art of dance.

The class is held 5:30-6:15 p.m. Mondays, June 6-27 at the Community Building, 115 West 11th St. Cost is $28 per child. An additional session is offered 5:30-6:15 p.m. Mondays, July 11-Aug. 1.
