LPRD’s Ballroom Dancing teaches new moves for the dance floor

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department invites participants to find a partner and spice up their dancing with an ongoing class.

Ballroom Dancing offers a wide variety dances waltz, salsa, tango and the cha-cha. This course is designed for participants to learn to get a feel for the basic step, connection and music associated with many ballroom styles and to enhance their dancing skills.

This class will be held 7-8 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 14-Oct. 19, and 7-8 p.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 11-Dec. 14. Both sessions will be held at Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St. Cost is $40 per person. Partner enrollment is required.
