Prairie Park Nature Center is hosting a hiking adventure to provide an opportunity to get out of the house and back into nature.

No Child Inside Hiking Adventures gives kids seven years-old to 12 years-old the opportunity to get out of the house and get moving with a guided investigative nature hike. They will go frogging at the wetlands, stalking birds with binoculars, identifying tracks and much more.

The first program will be held 3-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St. Additional hikes will be held Wednesdays, Oct. 12, Oct. 26 and Nov. 9. Cost is $5 per trip.
