Traffic Impacts for City Compost Facility

On March 21, the City announced the closure of westbound 11th St. from the railroad tracks to Haskell Ave., eastbound 11th St. from Delaware St. to Haskell Ave., and southbound Haskell Ave. from 11th St. to 12th St. for street maintenance work in the 11th St. and Haskell Ave. area.

This closure will affect routes for those who are traveling to the City Compost Facility for the upcoming Saturday load events. Drivers can still access the City Compost Facility through both of the normal routes. However, those visiting the City Compost Facility will only be able to leave the Facility by traveling eastbound on E 11th St. and N 1550 Rd., driving southbound on E 1625 Rd., and then driving westbound on N 1500 Rd. to reach Haskell Ave.

The City anticipates this closure to last for several weeks, pending weather delays or impacts.
