Resolution No. 7269, adopted November 6th, 2018 retains the Ethics Policy for members of the governing body, appointed officials, and employees of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, and repeals Resolution No. 5403. Ordinance No. 9552, adopted August 14, 2018, retains the Sales Tax Audit Committee that was previously established by Ordinance No. 8349 on November 4, 2008. The function of the Sales Tax Audit Committee will be to review the revenues and expenditures of the special sales taxes approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon on November 4, 2008, to verify that the approved City retailers’ sales tax revenue is being used properly and in accordance with the purposes for which said City retailers’ sales taxes were authorized. Terms: 3 year terms (after initial terms), expiring April 30 of corresponding year. Meetings: As needed.
