Interactive City Construction Project and Right-of-Way Maps

We maintain two maps to help you stay informed about work happening around Lawrence. The City Construction Projects Map shows City Capital Improvement Projects. The Citizens Connect Right-of-Way Map highlights permitted work by private contractors and utilities that may affect streets, sidewalks, or public spaces.

• The City Construction Projects Interactive Map is used to show current status of active City Capital Improvement Projects. The dashboard highlights project phase from planning to close out, budget, description, type, etc.
• This map may answer questions such as: “When is the street project going to be done?” or “What’s the budget/schedule for this traffic light replacement?”
•  Additional information about current and past Capital Improvement Projects can be found on the CIP Budget Archive

View the Citizens Connect Right-of-Way Map

• The Citizens Connect Right-of-Way Map allows users to view locations of permits, planning applications, code compliance cases, and licenses that the City has processed within Lawrence and Douglas County.
