Summerfest Community Event and Fireworks 2023
The City of Lawrence is excited to announce our Independence Day event, Summerfest 2023!
This unmistakable and exciting, FREE event is coming to the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Monday, July 3rd, and will feature the following:
- Food Trucks (food sales begin at 4:00 p.m.)
- Live music from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- A community fireworks display in the evening (around 9:45 p.m.)
SCHEDULE
- 4:00 p.m. Food Trucks begin sales
- 4:00 p.m. Free State Brewery beer sales begin
- 4:00 p.m. live music begins on Summerfest stage!
- 4:00 p.m. VCMN (alt R&B, pop)
- 5:00 p.m. The Matchsellers (bluegrass)
- 6:00 p.m. Page 7 (reggae)
- 7:00 p.m. The Whips (funk, pop)
- 8:20 p.m. Maria The Mexican (roots rock, Latin, Americana)
- 9:45 p.m.: Fireworks viewing at the “Derby Arena” inside the Fairgrounds
