Shelter & Gazebo Rental
Shelters and Gazebos may be reserved from April 15 through October 30, weather permitting.
Any reservations for Thursday through Sunday must be made no later than noon the previous Wednesday.
There are full-day and half-day rental fees for shelters, half-day and full-day rental fees for gazebos. Half-day rentals are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are $45. Full-day rentals are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and are $75.
Shelters are located at: Broken Arrow Park, 2900 Louisiana St.; Burcham Park, 200 Indiana St.; Centennial Park (on both the east and west sides of the park), 600 Rockledge Road; Clinton Lake Outlet Park, 1316 East 902 Road; Clinton Park, 901 West 5th St.; Dad Perry Park (on both the north and west sides of the park), 1200 Monterey Way; Hobbs Park, 702 East 11th St.;Holcom Park, 2700 West 27th St.; Lyons Park, 700 North Lyon St. and Prairie Park, 2811 Kensington Road.
There are also shelters available on a first-come/first-serve basis that are not on the reserve list. These shelters are located at: Deerfield Park, 2901 Princeton Boulevard; John Taylor Park, 200 North 7th St. and Brook Creek Park, 1200 Brook St.
Gazebo rental rates are as follows:
Half-day rental – $50 (between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
Full-day rental – $90 (between 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
Gazebos are located at South Park, 1311 Massachusetts St.; Watson Park, 6th St. and Kentucky St and the Lawrence Rotary Arboretum, 5100 West 27th St.

Reservations for outdoor shelters and indoor facilities can be done online or at any of the community recreation centers including the Community Building, 115 West 11th St.; East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 East 15th St.; Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St.; Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive and South Park Recreation Center, 1141 Massachusetts St.
