Make a New Year’s resolution with LPRD

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department offers several fitness classes to help individuals achieve New Year’s goals.

The department offers a wide variety of fitness classes at varying levels of intensity and times to fit most schedules. There are also water aerobic classes offered.  Recreation fitness classes are offered to individuals 16 years-old and older. Aquatic fitness classes are available to those 16 years-old and older.  Many classes begin the week of Monday, Jan. 2.

Registration is available online or at any LPRD facility, including: Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane, the Community Building, 115 West 11th St.; East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 East 15th St.; Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St.; Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive; Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St. or the Administrative Offices in South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St.
