The City of Lawrence is excited to begin work on various projects across 6th St. that will help to improve the road as well as provide a host of other benefits for travelers and residents of Lawrence. 6th St. was last repaved more than 10 years ago, and this investment in maintenance is essential to prevent further damage and impacts to traffic. Though there will be impacts to traffic as these projects continue, the City intends to maintain traffic flow across 6th St. during these construction projects.
