Nature Center to take animal education to the extreme

Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center is hosting a camp teaching youth about the amazing feats of animals.

Most Extreme Animals invites campers ages six years-old to 13 years-old to explore the most amazing feats that animals can achieve. Activities and topics include finding out the fighter pilot of the animal kingdom, getting to know the oldest animal on Earth and participating in the Animal Olympics. Camp will be held 8 a.m.-noon Monday-Friday, June 22-26, at the nature center, 2730 Harper St. Cost is $90 per child.
