The City’s new permitting and licensing software, Enterprise Permitting & Licensing (EPL) is now live.
The Planning Office has begun the process of developing a sector plan for the area generally around the intersection of I-70 and K-10 and to the east approximately 4 miles and containing approximately 4,075 acres. Please see the boundary map below. This plan will help guide the city when making future land use decisions within the planning area When and if property is annexed into the city. This plan does not annex or rezone property. The plan will also help the public to visualize how the city intends the area to develop in the future. Planning Staff will be asking stakeholders and the public to participate in the planning process throughout the development of the plan. Please see the plan timeline below.
A draft of the plan has been completed and is now available below. All comments regarding this draft should be directed to the contact below by the end of the day May 21, 2008. A public meeting to review and discuss this draft will be Thursday, May 15th from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center located at 4706 Overland Drive in Lawrence.
