Introducing the new Utility Billing System and Customer Portal

On December 9, 2019, the City of Lawrence launched a new utility billing system and customer portal. The new system will provide a much improved self-service experience for utility billing customers by offering an enhanced online customer portal.

To access this new system, residents can register for an online account following these four steps:

  1. Go to the customer portal website: https://link-infinity.lawrenceks.org
  2. Click on the “Register Now” link in the top right corner of the web page.
  3. Complete all required information
    in the “New User” registration form, including the below. You will also be asked whether you would like to opt in to paperless billing.

    • Username
    • Password
    • Customer number (provided in the
      introductory letter)
    • Account number (provided in the
      introductory letter)
    • Email address (this is where paperless
      bills and notices will be sent)
  4. Once you complete the form and click “Register,” you will be sent an email confirmation. Please click the link provided in the email to verify your account. After verifying your account, you will be able to log in to the portal using your new username and password.

Signing up for Paperless Billing

Signing up for paperless billing is easy when you use the new customer portal!

  1. Once you’ve registered for an online account, log in to the customer portal at: https://link-infinity.lawrenceks.org.
  2. On the left side of the web page, select “Manage Account,” located under the “My Account” options.
  3. To opt in to paperless bills and notices, click on the “Yes” button. The “Yes” button will change color to blue. To confirm
    this change, click on “Save.” A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the account preference change. Click on “Agree.”
  4. You will receive an email when your next bill is available to view in the portal. This notice will be sent to the email address you provided when you registered your account.’
