This weekend’s warmer weather will be inviting many residents to spend time outdoors getting some yard work done. To prepare for an increase in yard waste set outs, the solid waste crews will be collecting yard waste separate from trash this coming Monday, February 13. Yard waste collected will be transported to the City’s Compost Facility.

As a reminder, yard waste must be set out by 6:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13th in cans, City carts (trash carts or yard waste carts – NO recycling carts) or compostable paper yard waste bags. Bundles of tree and brush trimmings are also accepted. Each bundle must not exceed 5-feet in length or 18-inches in diameter and must not weigh more than 65 pounds. Bundles must be tied with durable string or twine (please do not use wire, duct tape, etc.).
