How do I sign-up for a CPR/AED/Healthcare Provider Course?

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical is now providing CPR for Healthcare Professional CPR and Heartsaver CPR AED classes through the American Heart Association online learning. CPR training consists of three parts; Part 1 is online through the American Heart Association web site. Part 2 and 3 are offered by Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical. How do I schedule a tour or request a truck visit?

Fire Station tours maybe requested by filling out the Fire Station Tour Request form or Request a Truck Visit form. Please complete the form in its entirety and submit it at least 14 days prior to your requested tour date. For all other inquiries, please call the Administration Office at (785) 830-7000. Please remember:

    • These are working fire stations with on-duty crews; the crew may need to leave on an emergency at any time. If this occurs, it may be necessary for the tour to end and your group to exit the station.
    • Firefighters have serious work to do. Birthday party groups are welcome to tour a fire station but may not hold party festivities at the station.
    • Please do not bring food or drink into the fire station.
