Ride Along Requests

Microsoft is currently experiencing a nationwide service disruption which is intermittently affecting Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and other online services used by City staff. They are working to implement a solution but do not currently have an ETA when that will be complete.

The department may allow civilians, Explorer Cadets, and hospital staff to ride-out on apparatus to increase awareness of department function and operations; and for exposure to career opportunities and recruitment.

Each individual that requests to ride with our department shall be briefed on the importance of confidentiality and a signed Policy on Confidentiality and Dissemination of Patient Information< form shall be obtained prior to ride-out.

Each individual that requests to ride-out with our department shall sign a department Civilian Ride Along Waiver prior to the ride-out. EMS students that are participating in assigned field internships with a college or university insurance rider do not need to sign a waiver.
